I feel lucky to have been invited by Bill Kerig, author of The Edge of Never, to come to a private screening of his work-in-progress ski film. It’s sort of a first look at how the film is coming together. It’s not set to release until the Fall of 2009, but BK has invited a few of the local ski tribe and web-based illuminati (that’s an awfully big word for a Skid), to come check out where he is at in the process, contribute some feedback, drink some High West whiskey. Maybe the action footage of Kye Petersen skiing in Chamonix will take the bite out of the oppressive mid-summer heat here in Utah and get us all thinking that another winter is not too far off.
